DC Designs features the polymer clay work of Denise Culberson. As a kid I could always be found
drawing or painting something but eventually I gave up my artistic endeavors for more practical
things like college, getting married, and starting a career, but a quest to find perfect gingerbread
man ornaments awakened that dormant need to create one Christmas. I couldn't find any that
looked cookie-ish enough. So I went to the craft store, bought a cookie cutter, a roller, and some
polymer clay. Ornaments lead to figures, figures lead to beads, beads lead to jewelry making, and
jewelry making lead to the start of DC Designs. Almost two years and more than 100 sales later it
truly does give me goose bumps when I think that there are people out in the world who love my
little creations enough to wear them around. I'm truly thankful for each and every one of my
customers and to be able to once again have a creative outlet. I hope to bring some of my clay
paintings to my shop soon and start doing some local craft fairs and markets. If only there were
more hours in a weekend! :)
